Dr Danit Maor completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia and is a distinguished fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also holds a Masters of Public Health reflecting her commitment to preventive care and evidence-based medicine.
Dr Maor has developed a strong clinical and academic interest in dermatology, with extensive experience managing a wide range of skin conditions in both paediatric and adult populations. Following her medical training she was selected for a prestigious fellowship at the Skin Health Institute in Melbourne, where she served as the Transplant Research and Education Dermatology Fellow, collaborating with leading dermatologists on cutting edge research. Her work at the Institute culminated in 13 research papers, published in both Australian and International journals, of which she was the first author for 10. This is testament to her dedication to underpin her practice with contemporary research and continuously contribute to the advancement of dermatological research.
Dr Maor adopts a preventative approach to medicine, with a strong emphasis on viewing each patient within the broader context of their overall health and lifestyle. This holistic perspective empowers patients to make informed choices, ultimately supporting improved long-term health outcomes and longevity. She recognises the profound impact skin health can have on self-esteem and overall well-being and is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Dr Maor continues to expand her expertise by regularly attending national and international conferences and workshops, ensuring she remains at the forefront of dermatological and cosmetic advancements.
